The Trees Whisper Our Sins

Why did this newsletter go missing? It is simple. It was because of stress. For the month of August, I took a break from writing. To be honest, I thought I achieved my dream of being a comic book writer. Since 2019, I’ve been involved in several comic anthologies and built my own library of books with my comic shorts. However, I needed to tell one more story. I teamed up with Artist Don Cardenas and Letterer Clay Adams and we published, “The Trees Whisper Our Sins.” After reading the finished product, I realized I miss creating characters.
This particular story has a special place in my heart. In the spring of 2021, I took my son for a walk and this happened:
At the time, I was stressed about my work/life balance. I was constantly yelling at my son because he kept interrupting me while I worked. I wrote all my fears about failing as a father into this story. I do hope you enjoy it!
